Suzanne has practised yoga since 1970 as a way of managing an old back
injury and staying balanced.
In 1980 she became a psychotherapist and for many years specialised in
eating disorders. She was always interested in spiritual growth, having
been a member of the Theosophical Society in the 70's. Around that time,
she also studied meditation with Irina Tweedy and Transpersonal
psychotherapy with Ian Gordon Browne and Barbara Summers.
At 50, looking for a change in direction, she decided to train as a yoga
teacher and qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga training with Monica
Burton and Christine Harrison. Her yoga is influenced by such teachers as
Gary Carter and John Stirk and the Scaravelli approach placing its emphasis
on spinal health.
Suzanne also runs a successful psychotherapy and counselling practice in
Edgware and is a Reiki healer.
